Dec. 14: Quinta Mazatlan presents A Parula Winds Concert and Santa in the Park at 6 p.m. Quinta Mazatlan, located at 600 Sunset Dr. in McAllen. Admission is $3. Dec. 14: City of Palmview will host its Posada Navidena from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Palmview Parks & Recreation, located at 406 W. Veterans Blvd. in Palmview. The event will include food, music, dance and fun for the whole family.

Dec. 14-17: Harlingen Community Theatre has rescheduled performances of Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park Dec. 14-17 at the Theatre, located at 1209 Fair Park Blvd. in Harlingen. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday. Doors open for ticket sales one hour prior to curtain and seating begins 30 minutes prior to curtain. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students 18 and under. There is also a $2 transaction fee for credit/debit cards.

Dec. 14-17:  Edinburg High School’s Dramaticats present Happy  Days, Dec. 14-16 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. at the Edinburg High School Performing Arts Theater, located at 2600 E. Wisconsin, Edinburg. The play is based on the television series Happy Days by Garry Marshall. The book was written by Garry Marshal and music and lyrics by Paul Williams. Tickets are $8

Dec. 15: The McAllen Wind Ensemble presents a Christmas Carol sing-a-long performance at the McAllen Performance Arts Center, located at 801 Convention Center Blvd. in McAllen at 7:30.p.m. Tickets are $8, $10, $15, $25 and are available at the McAllen Convention Center Box Office, Ticketmaster.com and at the door the night of the concert. Dec. 16:  McAllen Convention Center will hold Movie in the Park beginning at 6:30 p.m. featuring “The Polar Express.” Bring your blankets and chairs and hot cocoa. Admission is free.

Dec. 16: iTheatre and FBC Weslaco present “It's Christmas.” A series of Christmas carols, skits and cookies. The event will be held at 6 p.m. at the Tower Theatre, located at 120 S. Kansas Ave. in Weslaco. Suggested donation is $10.For more information call (956) 261-5656.

Dec. 16: The AACA RGV Christmas Toy Drive and Car show, hosted by the Antique Automobile Club of America – RGV Chapter, will be held at 9 a.m. At El Centro Foods, located at 500 N. Main St. in La Feria. Admission is free but the chapter is asking spectators to bring a toy to donate.

Dec. 16: The Border Theater presents Ralph Kuster's tribute to Traditional and Country Christmas at 2 p.m. At the Border Theater, located at 905 N. Conway Ave. in Mission. Tickets are $10. Call (417) 230-8198 for more information.

Dec. 16: City of Mission and Hands in Art Studio present a Winter Wonderland Festival from 4 to 10 p.m. at Leo Pena Placita Park in Mission. There is no admission cost for this event, which will include a night of music, handmade crafts and local food.

Dec. 16:  Quinta Mazatlan, located at 600 Sunset Dr. in McAllen will host Santa's Animal Forest Fest from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be trail walks, a snow flurry machine, caroling, arts and crafts and more. There will be stage shows also from holiday caroling to dancing and more. Dec. 16 & 17:  First United Methodist Church of La Feria will host its Live Nativity on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 16-17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The church parking lot transforms into the town of Bethlehem. Dec. 18-20: The Pharr Community Theater presents A Texano Christmas Carol at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. On Monday the performance will beheld at Blue Bonnet RV Resort, 3366 N. Dec. 19: Chabad RGV presents its annual Chanukah Concert at Archer Park, located at 101 N. Main St. in McAllen. The event is open to the public and there is free admission. The Fair begins at 4:39 p.m. and the Menorah lighting and concert, by the folk/rock band from Israel, the Solomon Brothers Band, begins at 6:30 p.m.

Dec. 30: The McAllen Performing Arts Center, located at 801 Convention Center Blvd. in McAllen will present Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker at 3 p.m. And 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the McAllen Convention Center Box Office from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or at Ticketmaster.com.
