January 14 and 15 RGV Woodcarvers Show will be held at the Nomad Shrine Club (1044 W. Nolana Blvd., Pharr). There will be carvings of just about every carving category on display. January 15 The City of Mercedes will host their Queen City Market Days located in historical downtown Mercedes from 4 to 9 p.m. The event will be held every third Saturday of the month from November through January.
