April 9 McAllen’s Sunset Live outdoor music festival returns with a TexMex Country R&B musical celebration on Saturday, April 9, at the McAllen Convention Center Oval Park, 700 Convention Center Blvd. This will be the 43rd concert for Sunset Live, making it the leader in outdoor live music events in the Rio Grande Valley. Future dates will be held on May 14 and June 11. The first concert will begin with a yoga class led by Quiet Mind Yoga at 6 p.m. Taking the stage at 6:30 will be STAARZ (R&B Pop), 7 p.m. Lizzie Astorga (Mexican and American Pop), 8 p.m. Ricky J and Desert Bloom (Country), and 9 p.m. will be Darius Jackson (Blues).
