Illumina Fest lights up the holiday season With the holiday season upon us, Quinta Mazatlan Illumina Fest is back for five nights from December 13th to 17th, with timed entrances from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Over 3,000 Luminarias will light the forest trails, a southern tradition dating back to the 1500s. Thanks to Spaw Glass, guests will enjoy Fire and LED performances by Danta Colmenares and Aerialists by Sam’s Personal Studio. DJ Queen Killah Bee will welcome you to the fun and festive event outdoors—dress for the weather. Over thirty light installations are featured along the half mile walk through the woods highlighting the various winter celebrations including Christmas, Hanukkah, Chinese New Year, Kwanzaa, Diwali and more. The word Luminaria means “festival lights” and traditionally people lit small bonfires to welcome visitors over the holidays. At Illumina Illumina Fest will light up the forest at Quinta Mazatlán with over 3,000 Luminarias and 30 Art Installations. Courtesy Photo
