Nolana Blvd., in Pharr. The Carvers meet weekly on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. through March. Everyone is welcome to come and visit and join the club. Get ready to build/carve for the Woodcarvers Show in January. Senior Ambassadors The Senior Ambassadors is looking for singers to join their chorus. Senior Ambassadors is composed of men from the Valley and Winter Texan community. They perform choral music from sacred and semi classical, to pop and country. Practice sessions are held each Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Bentsen Grove Help place wreaths in Harlingen The Veterans Memorial Project Committee is proud to announce an opening ceremony to place wreaths on Veterans graves as part of the Wreaths Across America. It will be held at 11 a.m. on December 18. The ceremony will be held at Veterans Memorial at Pendleton Park, 1425 Morgan Blvd., Harlingen, before heading to the Harlingen Cemetery on F Street. A brief ceremony will be held at the cemetery by local youth groups before placing wreaths on Veterans graves. Each Veteran will be greeted, called by name, and thanked for their service as the wreaths are placed. Volunteers are welcome and appreciated. You can personally purchase wreathsbefore theopeningceremony from 8 to 11 a.m. or by visiting their website at http://www.harlingenveterans.com/wreaths-across-america. Purchases online need to be made before December 17, and picked up Resort (1645 S. Bentsen Rd.) in Mission. They perform 10 to 12 times each season at various venues in the RGV.
