Sales@promosandprints.com (956) 580-7800 1217 N Conway Ave, Mission, TX A Division of Nexus Publishing LLC Grande Valley, drawing in thousands of people each year. With everyone open and booming again, this event is expected to be huge this year. Dustin Hoover said his emphasis this year is that it is free – as it has been for years. There will be free T-shirts, free food and drinks, free admission, free parking, and free fun. Hot dogs will be served for lunch each day and drinks will be provided by Coca-Cola. Kona Ice will also be available. With five big tents full of vendors, there is sure to be something for everyone. There will also be lots of games, including a scavenger hunt. One main prize will also be given away each day. Main prizes awarded will be winner’s choice of a cargo trailer, Hisun 4-Wheeler, or a Bad Boy Zero Turn Mower. You need to be present for the main prize, but there will be other prizes to win throughout the two days. Dustin Hoover invites everyone to come out and see the enormous selection of RVs, boats, golf carts, and more. One of the coolest things, says Dustin, is that this event is the largest RV/boat dealer open house in the nation. Previous events have seen as many as 10,000 people come through. On site there will be special sales, including a flea market-like sale on all extras Ron Hoover has collected over the year. These items can include parts, hitches, and other items. All items will be sold at a bargain, cash and carry style. This is your chance to get “parts ridiculously cheap,” he said. There will also be plenty of entertainment, including two great bands that will be performing. As with last year, Ron Hoover has partnered with a local organization to support. Vendors are supporting a great cause with their participation at the event. With five big tents of vendors, the event is set to raise over $20,000 for the South Texas Juvenile Diabetes Association (STJDA). The Association helps support Valley children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. STJDA holds summer camps, partners with schools providing educational programs, gives bears to children in area hospitals, and more throughout the Valley. The program has reached an estimated 619 children with direct services and more than 22,000 children through prevention education. Over 750 bears have been given to newly diagnosed children, providing them and their families with hope and a direct connection to an organization made up of families just like them. Dustin says, this is just one way to show his appreciation to the Winter Texan community each year – with some fun, prizes, food and deals for everyone. Ron Hoover RV & Marine Center is located at 101 Expressway 83 in Donna (on the south side of the expressway). Parking will be available along North Ave. behind Ron Hoover. Golf cart shuttling will be provided on both days. HOOVER From pg. 1 Visitors added condiments to their free hotdogs that was part of the open house along with chips, a drink and snow cones.
