Alamo Road, Alamo. We will feature 27 veterans’ quilts that will be given at a dinner honoring our resident veterans. This year the group worked on a mystery quilt that every member submitted a pattern and you made it using your choice of material. We also will be giving quilted pocket prayers to those attending. There is a $2 admission with Second Hand Rose and a vendor who specializes in sewing machine servicing. (Submitted by Marilynn Kimmel) Big Valley Quilters Club honors Veterans with quilts Members of the Big Valley Quilters Club recently presented patriotic themed lap quilts to 29 Veterans of Big Valley at its annual Veterans Appreciation Program. The Veterans represented all branches of our military and span from WWII through the gulf conflicts.
