The 10th Annnual Shuffleboard Tournament at La Floresta was held February 18th. It was so much fun. We had 64 participants who competed throughout the day. The event was organized by Bill Hocken, with assistance from Jerry Mason and Wilf Trudeau and others. The Preliminary Round began at 9 a.m.; the Championship Round started at 1 p.m. with 32 players and 16 rounds. First Place went to JimWoods and Kevin Halvorson. First place winners were Jim Woods and Kevin Halvorson Following the Shuffleboard Tournament, we had an all-you-can-eat taco dinner. The dinner was organized by Pam and Kevin Halvorson (front) and Paula and Rickey Henderson (center), along with many others who pitched in to help with set-up, cooking and serving, and clean-up. We have the nicest people you will ever meet in our park.
