Donations will be accepted for PVAS. The library is located at 4001 N. 23rd. St. April 1 – The McAllen Monarch Festival will be held at Quinta Mazatlan from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults. Celebrate the event by wearing orange. April 9 – McAllen Public Library will hold their Sunday Book Club and discuss the book Verity by Colleen Hoover. RGVWoodcarvers The Rio Grande Valley Woodcarvers have begun their seasonal meetings. The woodcarvers are meeting at the Nomad Shrine Club, 1044 W. Nolana Blvd., in Pharr.
