Celebrate the Year of the Dragon at the International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) on S a t u r d a y , January 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The 12th annual Lunar New Year Festival, supported by the IMAS Guild, will feature t r a d i t i on a l Chinese, Korean, and Taiwanese crafts, games, and more. Discover the art of calligraphy, create a dragon puppet, and enjoy local eateries Snow Bite, Ulike Tea, and Han’s Katsuya. Paper fan painting will also be available for an additional $3 per participant (limited supply). “I’m excited to celebrate the Year of the Dragon at IMAS. With the support of local Asian and Asian-American communities, visitors can gain profound insights into the celebration of Lunar New Year, experiencing it through art, food, games, and fun.” stated IMAS Director of Education, Roni Cortez. Festival admission is $5 with discounted $3 for children ages 4-12, students with an ID and senior citizens 65+. Museums for All (WIC/ EBT) discount is $1 for up to four people per card.
