Join the museum for an exquisite showcase of vintage and contemporary quilts from the museum’s collection. Whether you are a seasoned quilter or simply appreciate the beauty of the craft, this exhibition is not to be missed. Exhibit can be viewed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is located at 500 S. Texas Blvd. January 6 – March 31 – IMAS will host the exhibit Ancient Landscapes of South Texas: Hiding in Plain Sight which illuminates the unique landscape and helps curious minds to understand the natural processes that formed south Texas. Along with the exhibit, a viewing of the documentary will be shown at 3 p.m. on February 3. The museum is located at 1900 W. Nolana Ave. in McAllen. January 24 – McAllen Main Library on 23rd and Nolana will host Enclosing the Fictions – Sorting Through the History and Distortions of the Holocaust, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Join J.E.
