February 17 – Brownsville History Museum will host their Winter Walking Tour: West Side Parks at 11 a.m. Meet at the Historic Brownsville Museum, 641 E. Madison St. Cost is $10 for BHA members and $15 for non-members. RSVP by calling (956) 548-1313. Visitors will explore the west side parks of Brownsville. The tour is limited to 25 people. February 18 – Buena Vida 77 Farmer’s Market will be held at Bannworth Park Pavilion in Mission from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Bannworth Park is located at 1822 N. Shary Rd. February 18 – IMAS will host an adult workshop featuring Mexican Masks from 2 to 4 p.m. Participants will be inspired with a private viewing of select objects from the collections, followed by a traditional artmaking. Registration includes admission so participants may visit the museum after the workshop. Learn about the long history of Mask Making in Mexico and then create your own. Cost is $20 per person. February 20 – Harlingen Medical Center hosts Doc Talks: Healthy Aging, Happy Living with a free educational talk on Staying Alive with Dr. Eduardo Flores in the Main Lobby at 5:30 p.m. Harlingen Medical Center is located at 5501 S. Expressway 77. There will be refreshments and door prizes. February 22, 24, & 25 – STC Theater and Dance brings The Little Prince to the stage. Tickets are $5.
