Offer expires March 31, 2024. I like to stay busy – but recently I have been very busy with all of my wonderful travelers asking for dates for future tours. No doubt you feel the same as I – it’s time to get out and see the world. We were just cooped up too long. Even though many of the tours follow the same routine, hotels change hands or close or quality and service may drop. Contracts must be negotiated and signed, and all of this takes time. I am sure that the area quilt shows gave all the quilters in the Valley an itchy foot for the big Houston International Quilt show to be held beginning October 30, 2024. And yes, Go … With Jo! Tours will offer that tour again. It’s a four-day tour Let’s go see quilts beginning with the evening visit on the 30th. The purpose of that nighttime tour is to acquaint you with the layout of the show. This will save you frustration the next day when you go back for classes or just to shop some more. Classes will begin the next day on October 31 with at least three daily shuttles back and forth from the hotel to the show. Our hotel is generally in, or close to, the galleria area. I don’t have the final pricing yet because of fluctuating gas prices and t r a n s p o r - tation, but as soon as I do, I will publish it in this paper and on our website. If you want to get a group together, start forming one now.
