Kansas Ave., is thrilled to unveil its latest production: the electrifying murder mystery comedy, “The Bold, The Young and The Murdered.” Tickets for this extraordinary event are available for purchase at www.weslacotower. org. General admission is $15, and reserved seats are $20. Showtimes are 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Matinee performances are at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. March 8 – The Tip-O-Tex Trail Riders will stop at Lakewood RV Resort (after 10 a.m.), 4525 Graham Rd., Harlingen, as part of their trail to Mercedes and will be joining the park to a Soup Fundraiser and Bake Sale that is open to the public at 11 a.m. For more information, contact Tabitha at (956) 423-1170. March 8 – The 16th annual Canada vs USA senior men and women slow-pitch softball games will be held at Westside Park in McAllen, 1000 S. Ware Rd. Local. Winter Texan seniors 55 years and older will be playing for bragging rights as well as having their respective country engraved on the Can-Am trophy provided by the McAllen Parks and Recreation Department. Admission is free. Parking is free. All refreshments are only $1. Gates open at 9 a.m. The games begin at 9:30 a.m. after renditions of both country’s national anthems.
