The 5K Color Bash will benefit the Food Bank RGV and enable the organization to help fight hunger and food insecurity in the RGV.

The Food Bank RGV is excited to host their second 5K Color Bash. Over 800 runners from across the Rio Grande Valley joined the Food Bank RGV in 2019 to run the fun color-blasting course outlined at Edinburg Municipal Park.

The Food Bank RGV would like to thank its event sponsors: Boggus Ford, Cano Health, CarMax, and Target. Every dollar raised at the 5K Color Bash will support the Food Bank RGV’s mission and help provide meals to children, families, seniors, and Veterans at risk of hunger.

The 5K Color Bash will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2022, beginning at 8:00 a.m. and end once all runners cross the finish line. The 5K Color Bash will kick-off with Zumba to warm up and feature a D.J. as well as vendors. There will be finisher medals and well as age group awards. There’s still time to sign-up online and late registrations will be accepted on-site at the event.
