Frontera Fest is back Frontera Audubon’s Frontera Fest is back for another evening of delicious food, cold drinks, amazing music and fun. STC Theatre and Dance kicks off their season South Texas College Theatre and Dance kicks off its first production of the year with Blithe Spirit by Noël Coward. The production will run on November 10 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. and will include a matinee at 2 p.m. on November 13. In Blithe Spirit, Charle and Ruth Condomine gather with their friends, the Bradmans, and the local eccentric medium, Madame Arcati, for a night of “ghostly” festivities. Skeptic at first, Charles soon finds out that Madame Arcati may not be the fraud that he initially thought, when the ghost of Charles’ first wife, Elvira, suddenly appears to haunt him after a “failed” séance. Unable to leave, Elvira becomes a nuisance in every s e f the word. In this comedy, Noël Coward combines farce, emotion, and verbal wit to the great effect. General admission tickets cost $5.
