The event will be full of seminars and field trips for those that have registered. There are some community events as well. November 10 – South Texas College Theatre and Dance kicks off its first production of the year with Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward. The production will run at 7:30 p.m. at STC’s Cooper Center for the Performing Arts Main Stage Theater, 3200 W. Pecan Blvd., in McAllen. General admission tickets are $5. November 10 – The Aliento a Tequila exhibit opens at IMAS. A tequila tasting and painting workshop for adults will be held on Thursday, November 17, after hours. November 11-12 – City of Harlingen will host their Riofest at Harlingen Baseball Field, 1216 Fair Park Blvd. There will be concerts, a carnival, artisan market, art walk, BBQ cook-off, a 5k run, food, tailgate party, HCISD performances and more. Gates open at 5 p.m. on November 11 with a Veterans Day Celebration shortly after. Kevin Fowler will be the main artist performing at 8:30 p.m. Eli Young Band will be the main performing artists on Saturday with gates opening at 12 p.m. They will perform at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $5.
