VSO presents A Touch of Frost Join Maestro Dabrowski, the Valley Symphony Orchestra, and the Valley Symphony Chorale for this magnificent celebration of the holiday season. Special guests for the event are Chorale Conductor Sean Taylor and Tenor David Sadlier. A Touch of Frost will feature selections from The Nutcracker and Handel’s Messiah, along with favorites such as Sleigh Ride and the Valley’s own version of Feliz Navidad featuring mariachi flair. The performance will start at 8 p.m. at the McAllen Performing Arts Center, 801 Convention Center Blvd. The concert will be approximately one hour and 10 minutes with an intermission. Courtesy Photo Edinburg calling for vendors The City of Edinburg brings the joy of the holiday season by hosting The Lighting of the Tree ceremony to be held on Thursday, December 1st, 2022, at 6 p.m. at the City Hall Courtyard located at 415 W. University Dr. The Lighting of the Tree event will host a variety of vendors, food, amusement attractions, joyful carolers from local schools, and music performances. Bring the kiddos to take pictures with Santa, write letters to the North Pole and much, much more.
