Kansas, will have their Christmas Light Display with a holiday market at 6 p.m. December 2 – South Padre Island will hold their tree lighting ceremony at the SPI City Hall starting with a welcome by the mayor at 5:30 p.m. Their Annual Christmas Parade will follow at 6 p.m. The route will travel south on Padre Blvd. from Mars to Acapulco east of the medians only. December 2 – A Touch of Frost, by Valley Symphony Orchestra will be performed at the McAllen Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. It is the holiday tradition featuring the Valley Symphony Chorale and seasonal favorites including sections from Handel’s Messiah and The Nutcracker. The amphitheater is located at 53550 Dolphin Cove. December 3 – Watch the Lighted Boat Parade of illuminated boats of all sizes cruise through the Laguna Madre Bay. Designated viewing areas throughout the route offers public viewing. The parade starts at 6 p.m. December 3 – Cameron County Amphitheater and Isla Blanca Park will host a tree lighting and firework display at 9 p.m. The amphitheater is located at 53550 Dolphin Cove.
