All is Bright at Aurora House Those at Aurora House are excited for the holiday season, a time of reflection, gratefulness, and family. They are grateful that so many give each year; grateful that with the help of sponsors and donors, Aurora House can continue to provide these special moments to families who need it most. Aurora House continues to provide care and give back to the wonderful community, but they cannot do it alone. Aurora House receives no funding from Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance. Donations and sponsorships from the community are crucial to continuing their mission and providing much needed comfort and care for their patients and their families. Your support has enabled them to open their second wing and accommodate 10 patients at a time, so family can be family again: making memories, building a legacy, sharing love. The care they provide is at no cost to the patient or their family – but the cost of care is significant. The Aurora House will hold a special event to raise funds it needs to keep operating and helping families with hospice care. This year, “All is Bright” will be held on the evening of Friday, December 2, at Villa De Cortez, 260 S. Texas Blvd., in Weslaco, at 7 p.m. The event will feature food, drinks, dancing and fabulous auction items. There will be a range of sponsorship levels with benefits and recognition opportunities. Your sponsorship will help provide care for the residents of Aurora House and their families this holiday season. Let your kind and generous contribution be a miracle for families in the community who need it most. As always, Aurora House is looking forward to sharing the holiday season with you – Thank you for your support.
