The Harlingen High School Band Boosters will hold a golf tournament fundraiser at Tony Butler Golf Course. The event will start at 7 a.m., Nov. 22, with registration and a light breakfast.
The community is invited to join the Mighty Hawk Band Boosters first fundraiser golf tournament. All proceeds will go toward supporting the Harlingen High School Mighty Hawk Band. You will have the chance to win in four Hole-in-One contests to include a $20,000 “Split the Prize with Charity” contest. There will be a putting contest at the start of the event and closest to the pin contest with guaranteed winner for a trip to Las Vegas.
Player packages include Team of Three-Man Scramble or individual players can register to be paired up with two other players to make a three-person team. Registration includes a light breakfast, a goodie bag, and event dry fit polo shirt. Tee-off will be held at 8 a.m.
There will be a luncheon at noon with award presentation. At the end, near 1 p.m., there will be a golf ball drop event by the Harlingen Fire Department. The ball with hole-in-one or closest to the pin will share a 50/50 prize with the Mighty Hawk Boosters. You do not need to be a golf registrant to participate in this event and do not need to be present to win.
There is also an online silent auction. If you can’t attend, but would like to donate, visit the website. Any support is greatly appreciated. Tony Butler Golf Course is located at 2640 Golf Course Dr., in Harlingen.
