GOLIAD COUNTY – Goliad State Park will host its annual “Rio! Rio!” event on November 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mission Espiritu Santo. This special event offers visitors the chance to step back in time and explore the skills and daily life of those who lived along the San Antonio River throughout history.
Attendees can participate in a variety of hands-on demonstrations and activities while reenactors and educators bring history to life. Displays include, but are not limited to blacksmithing, candle making, archaeology, spinning and weaving, Corn grinding, and ranching and roping.
