Diego and Edith Saurina will be performing at this year’s Valley Star Awards on Wednesday, February 21. The married couple are Pharr natives and have been performing in the Valley at RV Parks for 15 years.

Diego plays the keyboard and sings while Edith brings her vocals to the stage as well. Diego is a professional keyboard piano player, songwriter, and music producer. This duo performs live variety music ranging from the 70’s to today’s music. They play a little bit of country, pop, blues, and a lot of rock ‘n roll.

Last year the duo won Duet Musical Group of the Year and Diego won Male Vocalist of the Year for the Valley Star Awards. They are excited to play at this year’s Valley Star Awards.

Edith says they are full-time musicians, and they love entertaining in the parks, they love the people, and they just love what they do. They have gained friends and followers. In fact, they have had their kids at some of the shows and the Winter Texans treat them like their grandkids.

They love entertaining and making people happy on the dance floor the most and that they can do what they do in the RGV Winter Texan community.

Diego and Edith have three children (Natasha, Diego, and Miranda) and love to travel. One of their favorite spots is Sayulita Nayarit, a little beach town about 45 minutes away from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They love exploring the area with their kids every summer when they drive down there from their home in Pharr. They stop at different towns along the way, eating and exploring as they make it a two-month trip.

They thank God for the love and support of their music and that they are able to live their dream because of the Winter Texan community.
