Christmas Tree Forest webThe International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) is inviting the community to be part of one of the Valley’s favorite holiday traditions, the annual IMAS Guild Christmas Tree Forest.

This year’s theme, “Christmas in a Science Lab,” puts a creative spin on the season, inspiring participants to combine the magic of the holidays with the wonder of science. From hand-made ornaments to imaginative tree designs, the Christmas Tree Forest is a showcase of local creativity, teamwork, and holiday spirit.

The Christmas Tree Forest, organized by the IMAS Guild, will officially open to the public on December 3 and remain on display through January 4, 2026.

“The Christmas Tree Forest is a cherished tradition that always brings joy to our community” said Luna Galván, IMAS Exhibits Coordinator & Curatorial Assistant. “We're excited to see how everyone’s imagination will bring this year’s science theme to life through festive creativity and holiday spirit.”

Each participating organization has created their ornamentation for their trees. The long-standing tradition of hand-made ornaments is one that the community looks forward to every year. The exhibit showcases the creativity and ingenuity of the community from preschoolers through adult groups.

There will be a Christmas Tree Forest Awards Ceremony on Sunday, December 7 at 2 p.m.
