Fun and informative programs for all ages are being held at Bentsen-RGV State Park. Events are free with park admission.

The park holds bird walks every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8:30 a.m. There will be a Bentsen Holiday Fun Day on Saturday, December 14, at 10:30 a.m. This event will meet at La Familia Nature Center near the park entrance.

Two events being held in December require reservations, those are the Wild Wellness and Our Night Sky programs. The Wild Wellness will be held on Friday, December 13, at 8:30 a.m. Our Night Sky will be held on Friday, December 20, at 7 p.m.

All programs will meet at the tram turnaround at park headquarters unless otherwise specified. Call ahead to confirm the programs and details at (956) 584-9156. Bentsen-RGV State Park is located at 2800 S. Bentsen Palm Drive, in Mission.
