The Mission Historical Museum is excited to announce the 20th Annual Quilt Show and is now accepting entries for this beloved community tradition. Quilt enthusiasts are invited to participate by submitting their best work in three categories: Bed Quilts, Wall Hangings, and Decorative Art.
Entry forms and quilts will be accepted through Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Entries can be delivered between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays. The Museum advises early registration, as space is limited and entries will be capped if capacity is reached before the deadline.
The highlight of the Quilt Show will be the "Turning of the Quilts" program, accompanied by an awards reception where outstanding entries will be recognized. This event offers a wonderful opportunity to admire the artistry and craftsmanship of local quilters, and the public is warmly invited to attend.
The Turning of the Quilts and Awards Reception will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 2 p.m. Admission to the reception is free.
All quilts will be on exhibit from January 13, 2026, through February 27, 2026.
The museum is located at 900 Doherty Ave. For more information, visit the Mission Historical Museum or call (956) 580-8646. Entry forms are available at the museum, and staff members are happy to answer any questions.
