Mission health fair webThe Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) will host its Annual Community Health and Wellness Fair, scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, January 13 and 14, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Mission Event Center, 200 N. Shary Rd., Mission.

Proudly sponsored by the City of Mission and Mission Regional Medical Center, this two-day wellness fair brings together healthcare providers, wellness experts, and local organizations to offer free health services and education to the community.

Attendees will have access to comprehensive blood work exams, health screenings, vaccines, Quantaflo (blood circulation) tests, and additional health resources. To secure an appointment for bloodwork exams, individuals can schedule online at bit.ly/GMCCHealthfair or by calling (956) 585-2727.

Plus, don’t miss their Talk with a Doc session, featuring expert-led discussion from local physicians on key health topics. Both sessions will be held at 9 a.m. January 13 will feature Dr. Arturo Torices, General Surgeon talking about weight loss options: Comparing weight loss shots and surgery. Dr. Kristan Diaz, Family Medicine, will discuss Aging Well: How to stay strong, sharp, and independent on January 14.
