The Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show & Rodeo will be held March 12 through March 22. Special admission on Senior Citizen Day, March 15, will be $10. Tickets are discounted for 55+, law enforcement and military. Must show ID, law enforcement badge or military ID. 

The RGVLS Parade will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m. along Texas Ave.

The Livestock Show features a lineup of music and other events including the men’s and women’s rodeo. All concerts are free with the price of admission. You’ll have a mix of country, conjunto, rock and Tejano to choose from. 

Artists include David Farras, Grupo Solido, The Spazmatics, Selena the Show, David Lewis, Wade Bowen, Sammy Arriaga, and Walker Montgomery. Others include The Variety Band, Drew and the Dancehall Dreamers, Mark Berry Band, Marshall Law, and Horseman Jam.  

Rodeo shows and some other events have additional tickets costs. General parking is free.  

Special events at the livestock show include the Antique Farm Equipment, Circus Zirkus, Tyzen the Comedy Hypnotist, Lanky the Clown, Robinson Chainsaw Artists, Fables of the West, Sea Lion Splash, and the RGVLS Museum.

Other things you can enjoy at the Livestock Show are vendors, an art show, exhibits, a carnival, food, students showing their animals, and so much more.
