Hello Friends!
Hello friends! I hope everyone fared the weekend weather well. It sure was a warm day out at the Winter Texan Fiesta in Mission on Friday only to be followed by rain and thunderstorms on the weekend.
Winter Texan Fiesta was packed. The crowd was bigger than I have seen in years. There was barely any empty space in the grassy area of the placita. It looked like everyone was having fun with friends and making new friends.
We made some new friends and saw some faces we hadn’t seen in a while. It’s nice to catch up, talk about what has been happening this season, and hear your stories. It’s always a pleasure to hear how our publications have helped you while you are in the Valley. It’s also a pleasure to know that we are doing a good job.
Our paper is for you, and we hope we continue to support you and provide you with the news you want to read, and the activities you want to know about.
Like I said, we love hearing your stories. The season is wrapping up, and we would love to share your stories too.
If you have a story to share, something amazing that happened at your park, something exciting that you saw this season, let us hear about it – let us share it with our readers.
You can send your news items – and photos – to news@wintertexantimes.com.
If you are leaving soon – stay safe and we hope to see you again. Take some time to enjoy the spring flowers that are popping up along the highways, too.
Until then,
~ Rina
