Valley Star Awards tickets are still available, but we do have a limited supply. So, if you are still thinking of going to the show, you should buy your tickets soon.
Remember, we have a great lineup of entertainment. Entertainers for this year’s Valley Star Awards are Kiley & Co., Pat Davison & Tess, The Lady & the Outlaw, The Warman Trio, Sister Luv, and Steven May and the Southern Knights. Where else can you see six entertainers for such a low price.
Leslie Blasing Productions present her “Honoring an Era” at the WinterFest and Expo to be held Monday, February 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday, February 11, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held at the South Padre Island Convention Center.
Fun N Sun will host GospelFest on Tuesday, February 11 at 6 p.m. The event will be held in their dance hall (1400 Zillock Rd., San Benito). Brett Marshall, Justin Terry and Mountain Highway will be the main entertainment for the event. It will also feature Fun N Sun Trio, RGV Men’s Gospel Choir, Faithful Singers, and a preshow by the Fun N Sun Ukelele Band. Fun N Sun has been holding GospelFest since 2006.
Internationally acclaimed pianist, composer and entertainer Jason Lyle Black will be performing his new show “100 Hits of Stage & Screen” live in concert at Christian Fellowship Church, 901 N. The Valley Symphony Orchestra (VSO) is thrilled to announce a special performance of Cocktails con Fuerza in Brownsville on Saturday, February 8, at 8 p.m. at the Texas Southmost College Performing Arts Center. From Gershwin’s Havana-inspired Cuban Overture to Duke Ellington’s thrilling symphonic big-band arrangements, this program promises to be as bold as it is captivating.
The South Texas Irish Festival (STXIF) returns for its highly anticipated 5th annual event on Saturday, February 22, in McAllen. The festival, offering free admission and a family-friendly atmosphere, will be held indoors and outdoors with plenty of parking available for all guests.
