VSO Carmen Y Mas webThe Valley Symphony Orchestra (VSO) has three more concerts this spring and you won’t want to miss a moment. What’s more, when you purchase tickets for all three concerts, you secure the same seats and save up to 20% on tickets.

On February 17, VSO presents Out of This World. The concert is meant for the whole family. Come for the family music and stay for the amazing movements of “The Planets” and soloist Haysun Kang on Rhapsody in Blue. Music selections that will be played include Giacchino/Arr. Murtha – Suite from The Incredibles, George Gershwin – Rhapsody in Blue featuring Haysun Kang on piano, Justin Writer – Crystal Horizon, and Gustav Holst – Selections from The Planets.

Carmen Y Mas will be presented on March 24. The beautiful and bold Mariachi Aztlan with the full symphony orchestra, plus the iconic Carmen. Music selections include Marquez – Leyenda de Miliano and Bizet – Carmen Suite.

On April 21, Asiya Korepanova returns to the VSO for Grieg’s masterful Piano Concerto, along with the American masterpiece West Side Story. Music selections are Grieg – Piano Concerto featuring Asiya Korepanova on piano and Bernstein – Symphonic Dances from West Side Story..

Tickets start at just $25 and you can purchase the three-concert series by calling the VSO office Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The VSO also will host the annual Bravo! VSO Gala on March 3.
