Leslie Blasing, a Valley favorite, will be performing at a Habitat for Humanity fundraiser in Alice on Monday, January 13. The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. with Leslie performing at 7 p.m.

Leslie Blasing’s songs span seven decades of country, classic rock, 50’s and 60’s. South Padre Island has been her home for 25 years where she has won multiple awards throughout the Rio Grande Valley and was honored as the first “Lifetime Achievement Award” winner in 2018 by the Valley Star Awards.

Join Leslie and Habitat for Humanity for a night of fun, raffles, entertainment, a silent auction, dancing, and community service. The event will feature BYOB and snacks, set ups available, plus Dale Wilson’s “World Famous” brisket sandwiches available to purchase beginning at 6 p.m.

RV parking at the Fairgrounds available for $25 cash per night and includes 30-amp electricity and water hook-ups. It is walking distance to the venue. There is a limited amount of RV spaces. The event will be held at the Merchants Building at the Jim Wells County Fairgrounds, 3001 S. Johnson St., in Alice, TX.
