Ballots for the Valley Star Awards are rolling in – make sure your voice is heard and vote for your favorite Wintertainer™. There are ten categories in which we ask you to vote. Categories are Male Vocalist of the Year; Female Vocalist of the Year; Duet Musical Group of the Year; Family Group of the Year; Vocal Group or Choir of the Year; Individual or Small Band Act of the Year; Novelty, Comedy, or Variety Act of the Year; Gospel Group of the Year; Rock N Roll Band of the Year; and Country Band of the Year.
Then there is the most coveted award – the write in – Entertainer/Group of the Year. This one is totally up to you, our readers, because you have the chance to write in your favorite among all of those you have seen perform in the Valley.
How to Vote
To vote for your favorite Wintertainers™, fill out the Valley Star Awards Ballot that can be found in today’s edition of the Winter Texan Times. Voting can also be done, in our preferred method, online at www.wintertexantimes.com.
Only one vote per person is allowed. Voters must use either the online ballot or the printed ballot from the paper. No photocopies of the ballot are permitted. Ballots must be received by Friday, February 7, 2025, at 5 p.m., to be counted.
When you fill out the ballot, we ask that you vote for someone in every category, if you are familiar with the nominees. Also, be sure to write in your choice for Entertainer or Group of the Year. This can be any individual or group.

Entertainers for this year’s Valley Star Awards are Kiley & Co., Pat Davison & Tess, The Lady & the Outlaw, The Warman Trio, Sister Luv, and Steven May and the Southern Knights.
This year’s Valley Star Awards will be held on Wednesday, February 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Mission Bell Resort, 1711 E. Bus. 83. Lunch will be available from 12 to 1 p.m. for an additional fee.
