MISSION, Texas — The City of Mission is inviting residents and visitors from across the Rio Grande Valley to join in a patriotic celebration as America marks its historic 250th birthday.
The Stars, Stripes & Smiles 4th of July Festival will take place on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lions Park, located at 1500 E. Kika De La Garza Loop in Mission.
This free, family-friendly event promises an evening filled with patriotic pride, entertainment, and community spirit. Attendees can enjoy live music, free food, vendors, games, activities for all ages, and plenty of festive fun as Mission comes together to honor the nation's 250-year legacy.
