The Valley Star Awards Show will be held at Victoria Palms Resort on Saturday, Feb. 25. The awards program hosted by Robert Ferguson will honor the “cream of the crop”of entertainers who make the winters more fun by performing in many Winter Texan resorts. Awards will be presented for individuals, groups and bands voted as best in their categories by park activity directors.
Nomination forms were distributed in November and December to activity directors. Twenty-nine parks returned the forms with their nominations. The nominations were tallied and the three highest entertainers in each category were put on a ballot slip and distributed to the parks participating. The ballots were returned to Victoria Palms Resort Feb. 1 and counted by a group of three people. From those results, favorite entertainers were chosen in 12 different categories.
