Now-February 27 – Mission Historical Museum will have a quilt exhibit featuring works by talented local quilters offering visitors a unique opportunity to appreciate quilting as both an art form and a cultural expression. The exhibit will be open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. as well as every second Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. MHM is located at 200 E. Tom Landry. February 6 – McAllen Art Walk will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at 601 N. Main St. There will be vendors, exhibits, and live entertainment. The event is free. The event is held every first Friday of the month through May.

February 6-8 – The traditional Mexican folk dance Alegria 2026 – Ballet Folklorico will be presented at the UTRGV Performing Arts Complex in Edinburg, 1201 W. February 7 – The McAllen Heritage Center presents Stories and Sips from 3 to 5 p.m. It will be an afternoon of book reading and signing with some of the authors of the Amazon best selling book God Willing, Daughter. The McAllen Heritage Center is located at 301 S. Main St.
