Now-February 2 – Pickleball on Padre will be held with a tournament and open play. There will be beginner lessons, fun games, Selkirk demos, vendors, giveaways and entertainment. Now-February 27 – Mission Historical Museum will have a quilt exhibit featuring works by talented local quilters offering visitors a unique opportunity to appreciate quilting as both an art form and a cultural expression. The exhibit will be open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. as well as every second Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. MHM is located at 200 E. Tom Landry. January 28-29 – Mission Historical Museum will host a special screening of She Came to the Valley at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 and must be purchased in advance. January 29 – Quinta Mazatlán invites the community to explore the hidden world of one of South Texas’ most fascinating and threatened species, the Texas Tortoise, from 6 to 7 p.m.

January 30-31 – Texas Citrus Fiesta will be hosting their Fun Fair, a free, two-day event filled with excitement for all ages at the Bentsen Palm Community Park, 1801 S. Inspiration Rd. There will be rides, games, entertainment and more fun. It’s free admission for the entire community.
