November 5 – The Museum of South Texas History (MOSTH) presents Hometown Heroes of South Texas: A Veterans Day Exhibit, opening at 10 a.m. The exhibit will feature donated items from local Veterans. November 5 – The South Texas Farm Fest will be held at 1202 N. Vermont Ave., in Mercedes from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Proceeds from the event will support the creation of the Mercedes Museum. November 11-12 – City of Harlingen will host their Riofest at Harlingen Baseball Field, 1216 Fair Park Blvd. There will be concerts, a carnival, artisan market, art walk, BBQ cook-off, a 5k run, food, tailgate party, HCISD performances and more. Gates open at 5 p.m. on November 11 with a Veterans Day Celebration shortly after.
