The most wonderful time of the year is here, and the City of Weslaco and the Weslaco Chamber of Commerce invite you to celebrate the holidays at one of our community’s most beloved traditions, the 2025 Weslaco Lighted Christmas Parade & Santa Dash 5K Fun Run!

Join us on Saturday, December 13, as the excitement kicks off with the Santa Dash 5K Fun Run at 5 p.m., followed immediately by the Lighted Christmas Parade at 6 p.m., proudly presented by South Texas Health Systems.

This year’s parade theme, “A Country Christmas,” will come to life with more than 120 illuminated floats, three cold-air balloons, festive inflatable characters, school performances, and local businesses!

The parade route will begin at Pike Blvd. and run along Texas Blvd to 6th Street, with plenty of space for spectators, so bring your lawn chairs and claim your spot. Reserved seating will be at the intersection of Texas Blvd and Business 83.

Road Closure Notice: For the safety of all participants and spectators, road closures will be in effect for parade and float staging Saturday afternoon on: Texas Blvd., Pike Blvd, Panther Dr, and Border Ave.
