Every two years the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) and the Winter Texan Times partner to conduct the Winter Texan Survey. The survey serves as a census of the Winter Texan population and gathers data about the attitudes, behaviors and economic impact of Winter Texans in the Rio Grande Valley.

This week, the Winter Texan Times includes the Winter Texan Survey as an insert in the newspaper and we invite our readers to complete the survey, and in so doing, be entered in a drawing for one of three $200 cash prizes.

This very important research is used Valley-wide by both businesses and communities to help make very important decisions that impact the Winter Texan community. By completing and returning your survey before the deadline you will help ensure the Winter Texan Survey results reflect the most accurate picture of the Winter Texan population and the positive impact Winter Texans have on the Rio Grande Valley.

The easiest way to complete the survey is online here. Winter Texan Times has created an easy-to-use web form and there is a link to it on the home page of our website at www.WinterTexanTimes.com.

If you prefer to fill out a paper copy and need a survey form, you can pick up a copy at the Winter Texan Times office, located at 1217 N. Conway Ave., Mission.

“All information provided will be kept confidential. The data will be tabulated, and only statistical information will be made public in the final report,” said Dan Brunson, publisher of the Winter Texan Times.
