Quinta Mazatlán is honored to host a screening of “Abundance: The Farmlink Story” Thursday, February 29, followed by a Q&A with Farmlink team member Hailey Wesling. The short documentary tells the story of college students banding together to create The Farmlink Project and deliver 100 million pounds of food during the largest food crisis in a century. The goal of the film is to share the power of youth-driven innovation and illuminate how individuals can significantly reduce food waste and hunger.

Wesling is Head of Corporate Relations at The Farmlink Project, a student-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit that connects farmers with surplus produce to food banks. She builds and maintains strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and donors who support the mission of ending hunger, reducing food waste, and healing the planet.

The presentation will offer information on how you can get involved in the Farmlink Project, whether you are a Student, Farmer, or Business looking to contribute to positive impact towards long-term solutions to address food insecurity and food waste. Join Hailey Wesling at Quinta Mazatlán, February 29 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Pre-purchased tickets can be found at www.quintamazatlan.ticketleap.com. Tickets are $5 per person.
