The Mission Lions Club proudly invites the community to join them in celebrating 100 years of service to the Mission community and the Rio Grande Valley. This special milestone will be marked with a Community Day celebration on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Lions Park (1500 E. Kika de la Garza Loop) in Mission.

The event will feature service booths highlighting causes supported by the Lions Club, including juvenile diabetes, autism, childhood cancer, and Leader Dogs for the Blind, among others. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of local vendors and food trucks, making it a fun and meaningful day for families and neighbors alike.

In honor of this centennial celebration, the Mayor of Mission will issue a formal proclamation, recognizing a century of service and community impact by the Mission Lions Club.
