The Valley Symphony Orchestra (VSO) brings its 2024-25 Masterworks season to a grand finale with Romantic Reflections on Friday, April 4, at 8 p.m. at the McAllen Performing Arts Center. This enchanting program will feature some of the most passionate and timeless orchestral works, promising an unforgettable evening of music and artistry.
From Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2 featuring world-renowned piano soloist Andrey Ponochevny, to Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 “Italian,” this concert promises to take us back to our symphonic roots.
And as we wrap up another wonderful year of music and community, the celebration continues with Bravo! VSO, the Symphony’s annual fundraising gala, on Thursday, April 17, at 6 p.m., at the McAllen Convention Center Ballroom. This elegant evening will honor the City of McAllen as the 2025 Cultural Leaders of the Year. This celebration will feature a cocktail hour, a gourmet three-course dinner, silent and live auctions, and a one night only VSO performance under the direction of Maestro Peter Dabrowski.
Join us in celebrating another season of extraordinary music and supporting the future of symphonic excellence in the Rio Grande Valley.
