The Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show & Rodeo will be held March 6 through March 16. Special admission on Senior Citizen Day, March 9, will be $5. Chris Marshall will be playing at the youth center from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Tickets are discounted for 55+, law enforcement and military. Must show ID, law enforcement badge or military ID.
The Livestock Show features a lineup of music and other events including the rodeo. All concerts are free with the price of admission. Listed below are the main headliners for each day. Opening acts will be listed on the website at www.rgvls.com. You’ll have a mix of country, conjunto, rock and Tejano to choose from.
Artists include Whickey D, Ricky Naranjo, Gary Hobbs, Spazzmatics, Guns 4 Roses, Catie Offerman, and Matt Castillo. Others include Braxton Keith, David Lee Garza, Aaron Watson, and Horseman Jam.
Rodeo shows and some other events have additional tickets costs. There is also a cost for parking.
Other things you can enjoy at the Livestock Show are vendors, an art show, exhibits, a carnival, food, students showing their animals, and so much more.
