This year, the City of Hidalgo is celebrating their 48th Borderfest Music and Cultural Festival and are excited to announce La Costeña will be the new title sponsor for the festival bringing the culture of Ireland to Hidalgo. The event is set for Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 16, at the Payne Arena.
Over the years, Hidalgo Borderfest has transformed into the Rio Grande Valley’s most iconic festival, celebrating a different country or culture each year. Entertainment and exhibits from these countries provide greater experiences and educational opportunities as the borders are expanded, and Hidalgo Borderfest raises its bar of excellence.
Borderfest and La Costeña will continue its mission to unite the community through performing arts, family activities, live music and unforgettable experiences for all of our guests within the Rio Grande Valley.
