The Brownsville Guitar Festival, a festival known across the nation for its world‑class performances and transformative educational experiences, proudly announces its 2026 concert events, brought to you by the Brownsville Society for the Performing Arts. All performances will take place at the TSC Performing Arts Center, beginning at 7 p.m.
Gohar Vardanyan will perform on Friday, March 27. She is an internationally recognized classical guitarist known for her expressive and refined artistry.
The Texas Guitar Quartet will perform on Saturday, March 28. They are a celebrated ensemble praised for their dynamic sound and innovative arrangements.

The festival also hosts The Original Guitar Ensemble Competition, a cornerstone event from the festival’s beginning. Performance adjudications and registration are open to all school and private‑studio ensembles performing on nylon‑string guitars, making it one of the most respected ensemble competitions in the country.
