McAllen International CarFest returns to the McAllen Convention Center, 700 Convention Center Blvd., Saturday, February 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a Social Distance Edition and free admission.
This year, due to COVID-19, CarFest is set to take place outdoors in the McAllen Convention Center’s Oval Park. Just like past years, guests will have the chance to see over 100 cars, listen to live music, shop local vendors and enjoy delicious street food. Car enthusiasts will see a mix of 55 categories ranging from classic and antique, to muscle cars, hot rods, modern and concept vehicles.
“We are committed to the safety of our guests, staff and our community and stay true to our mission to creating an enjoyable event experience,” said Yajaira Flores, Director, McAllen Convention Center Facilities. “McAllen International CarFest: Social Distance Edition will require all staff and guests to wear face masks at all times, keep six feet of distance apart from one another and temperature checks are required at the entrance.”
Reliant and Payne Auto Group proudly bring the McAllen International CarFest: Social Distance Edition to all area car enthusiasts.
