The Senior Ambassadors will welcome the Texas A&M Singing Cadets to the Rio Grande Valley on Friday, January 12, 2024, for a performance at the Center Church (formerly Trinity Worship Center), located at 4801 N. Cage Blvd., in Pharr.
Internationally known as the “Voice of Aggieland,” The Singing Cadets are Texas A&M University’s premier men’s chorus. The 13th director of the 60-member men’s choral group, David L. Kipp, began his tenure with the group in the fall of 1995. Under his leadership the Singing Cadets are staying true to their crisp military style and diverse selection of music. At the performance, Cadets will perform American, military, sacred and Aggie themed numbers.
“Have you ever wondered what would happen if the Rio Grande River lost all of its water, in the RGV?”, asked Pharr Community Theater’s longtime director/producer, Pedro Garcia.
The cottages of Holiday Village Brownsville have moved back to Dean Porter Park and have been prepared for the 14th annual yuletide event. With five new and updated displays, this year there will be a total of 34 fully decorated cottages lining the sidewalks.
The Holidays are here, and the City of Weslaco and Weslaco Chamber of Commerce invite you to celebrate with them. The 2023 Weslaco Lighted Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 6 p.m., the event will be kicked off with the annual Santa Dash 5k Fun Run at 5 p.m.
The holidays are in full sing in San Benito, and the 81st Annual Christmas Parade set for 6 p.m. Saturday, December 9, is the highlight of the season.
The evening was pleasant, there was shopping to be done and for the kids, a chance to have their picture taken with Santa during the Holiday Market held Friday in Mission’s Leo Pena La Placita Park.
